I see a cool picture of a weird looking eye on the cover, printed in funky colors. A small text on the bottom says that it is about television work and graphic designs. It grabs my attention, and I’m very surprised when there is so little text and so many pictures in this book. This is exciting, as there is nothing worse than a book with too much text when it is supposed to have more images. Sometimes images say more than words.
I really like the colors the artist used in his work. It reminds me of the work of Storm Thorgerson, who has made a big range of videoclips and designs for vinyl’s of Pink Floyd and other great artists of that time. (see picture attached)
It is good to know that the reason why I paid attention to this book at first is, that it has a very special size: it’s very thin, a4-sized.
But the coolest thing about this book has yet to come; it has been exactly 9 years and 2 days since someone lent this book from the library. This was one of the main reasons to pick this book. I can’t believe nobody has been interested in this book for such a long time.
